Research InterestsChas. was a postdoctoral associate working on wind and solar power characterization in southern Africa and contributing to the development of the Water Resources System (WRS). He specializes in large-scale biophysical modeling for policy decisions related to the changing climate, primarily in developing countries. He has worked on projects with the World Bank Group, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and COWI (a Danish consulting firm). These projects have involved working with countries including Morocco, Ethiopia, Kenya, Niger, Ghana, Mozambique, Botswana, Vietnam, Brazil, and Macedonia, as well as the Zambezi River Basin and the Congo River Basin. Mr. Fant holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, an M.S. degree in Water Resources from the University of Colorado, and completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering Systems from the University of Colorado in 2013.
