Prof. Timothy Cronin

Associate Professor
Faculty

Tim Cronin's research interests include several different subjects related to climate, especially idealized modeling of the atmosphere and atmosphere-land system with single-column and limited-area models. A (non-exhaustive) list includes: 1) Cold air formation in warmer climates; 2) Self-aggregation of convection; 3) Diurnal Cycle and Island Rainfall; 4) Boundary Layer Sensitivity; 5) Details about Radiative-Convective Equilibrium; 6) Tropical Cyclones in odd environments; and 7) Hadley Circulation and Eddies. See his website for more info and links to publications.
