Biographical Statement: Prof. Kyaw Tha Paw U is one of the originators (with his former graduate students) of the Advanced Canopy-Atmosphere Soil Algorithm (ACASA) model and has been working with his current students and colleagues on the linkage of the ACASA model with the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model. In Fall 2018 he was a visiting scientist with the CGCS while on sabbatical from UC Davis.
