Biographical Statement:

Dr. Scott studies the role of the large-scale ocean circulation in climate, the interaction of the atmosphere and ocean, and the mixing of heat and carbon into the deep ocean. His research is investigating the response of the climate system to greenhouse forcing and to changes in orbital forcing parameters, and the energetics of the large-scale ocean circulation.
