Dr. Tammy Thompson
Research Scientist, Colorado State University
Former Postdoctoral Associate, Joint Program
Affiliations
JP
Research Interests:
Dr. Thompson worked as a Postdoc with Prof. Noelle Selin on modeling atmospheric pollution and the associated human health impacts. Her research expanded the capabilities of global scale modeling efforts by incorporating regional-scale modeling of ozone and particulate matter in order to evaluate potential air quality and human health impacts of transportation policies. Prior to joining Prof. Selin's group at MIT, Tammy worked as a PostDoc at the Center for Energy and Environmental Resources at the University of Texas, using regional scale photochemical air quality models to guide the development of Electricity and Transportation Policies.
